Product Overview

The HF‑LPM‑2A1B‑F is a low‑pressure PU foaming machine for single/dual‑color shoe soles, with casting/spraying modes, ±0.3% accuracy, and vacuum defoaming.

This low‑pressure polyurethane foaming machine is specially developed for molding single‑color and dual‑color liquid reaction PU shoe soles, including polyester‑based soles, outsoles, midsoles, and insoles for mid‑to‑high‑end leather shoes, casual shoes, walking shoes, and sports footwear. The machine features a 120L dual A/B tank system with optional expandability to 2‑6 components, a low‑pressure mixing head operating at 4,000‑10,000 rpm (casting) or 2,000‑8,000 rpm (spraying with optional spray gun), and a total motor power of 10 kW. The intelligent PLC + touch screen control system enables one‑click formula storage and recall, precise regulation of temperature, pouring volume, and injection duration, with multi‑recipe storage for fast production switching. The machine supports two working modes: Casting Mode (core mass production)—mixed reactive PU materials are poured directly into open or semi‑closed molds, foaming and curing to form dense or microcellular structures with fully bubble‑free finished soles; and Spraying Mode (auxiliary coating)—with optional spray gun, homogenized PU mixture is evenly sprayed onto mold cavities or upper surfaces to form a bonded cushion layer or protective coating. The built‑in vacuum defoaming units in all raw material tanks remove dissolved gas in advance, ensuring cast soles feature compact, pore‑free cross‑sections with uniform internal texture. The mixing head includes automatic self‑cleaning and anti‑solidification functions, reducing manual maintenance and solvent use. The low‑pressure design offers lower initial investment, extended mold life, reduced raw material waste (splash‑free, flashless pouring), and lower long‑term electricity consumption.

Production Workflow

Material Preparation & Vacuum Defoaming

Load polyol and isocyanate into 120L tanks; activate built‑in vacuum defoaming units to remove dissolved gas from raw materials.

Recipe Selection & Parameter Setting

Choose stored recipe on PLC touch screen; set A:B ratio (1:1‑1:4) and discharge flow (26‑120 g/s) per sole type.

Pouring/Spraying & Curing

For casting: pour mixed PU into open/semi‑closed molds, filling from bottom to top to discharge trapped air; for spraying: atomize and apply onto mold or upper surface. Allow to foam and cure.

Demolding, Trimming & Self‑Cleaning

Demold finished sole; automatic mixing head self‑cleaning and anti‑solidification cycle prepares the system for the next production run.

Why Choose Our PU Low Pressure Sole Foaming Machine

Key Advantages

Six engineering and production benefits that deliver bubble‑free, wear‑resistant, and cost‑effective PU shoe sole manufacturing with exceptional flexibility.

Flexible Production & Fast Style Switching

Color replacement and internal cleaning completed within minutes. Supports dual‑color, striped, and gradient‑color soles with dual‑density modules for multi‑hardness zones on a single sole—covering sports midsoles, outdoor outsoles, and casual soles.

Optimized System for Bubble‑Free Cast Soles

Stable laminar flow fills molds from bottom to top, discharging trapped air. Built‑in vacuum defoaming in all tanks removes dissolved gas, delivering compact, pore‑free cross‑sections with uniform internal texture.

Outstanding Wear Resistance & Anti‑Cracking Performance

PU material abrasion resistance 3‑5× higher than rubber; scratch resistance far exceeds coated soles. Maintains flexible elasticity without cracking at toe flex points—ideal for sports shoes and labor protection footwear.

Intelligent Touchscreen Control, Low Labor Dependency

One‑click formula storage and recall. General operators can complete full production without senior technicians. Automatic self‑cleaning and anti‑solidification functions reduce manual disassembly and solvent washing.

Low Investment & Lower Long‑Term Operating Cost

Purchase cost much lower than high‑pressure equipment. Molds experience lower internal pressure, extending service life. Splash‑free, flashless pouring minimizes raw material waste, and low power consumption cuts electricity costs.

Strong Compatibility with Automated Production Lines

Integrates with circular/banana conveyor lines, pneumatic automatic mold frames, and robotic pouring arms for fully unmanned continuous mass production, drastically reducing labor costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of shoe soles can this machine produce?
It produces single‑color and dual‑color PU soles including polyester‑based soles, outsoles, midsoles, and insoles for leather shoes, casual shoes, walking shoes, and sports footwear. With optional multi‑component modules, it can produce multi‑color composite soles and gradient‑color designs.
How fast is the color switching process?
The low‑pressure mixing head features a simple structural design. Color replacement and internal cleaning can be finished within several minutes, supporting efficient production of dual‑color, striped, and gradient‑color soles with minimal downtime.
How does the machine achieve bubble‑free finished soles?
The combination of three factors ensures bubble‑free results: (1) stable laminar flow fills molds from bottom to top, discharging trapped air; (2) built‑in vacuum defoaming in all raw material tanks removes dissolved gas in advance; (3) high‑precision metering (±0.3%) and uniform high‑speed stirring ensure consistent material mixing.
Can the machine be integrated with automated production lines?
Yes. When combined with circular/banana‑type conveyor lines, pneumatic automatic mold opening/closing frames, and robotic pouring arms, the system can realize fully unmanned continuous mass production. Multi‑component material supply modules can also be installed for special multi‑color composite sole production.
What is the typical installation and training timeline?
After machine arrival, our engineers complete on‑site installation, commissioning, and operator training within 5‑7 working days. Integration with automated production lines may take an additional 2‑3 days depending on factory layout and line configuration.
