A high-performance PU foam casting system developed for industrialized manufacturing of elastic pads for high-speed railways, heavy-haul railways, subways and full rail transit systems.
The HF-LPM-1A1B-R is a state-of-the-art polyurethane foam casting machine specifically developed for railway and subway damping pad production.
It features a 1A1B configuration with intelligent control system, high-shear mixing head, and floating mechanical sealing structure that realizes homogeneous mixing with zero leakage and prevents material backflow during long-term continuous production.
The multi-point temperature control system restricts temperature deviation within ±2°C to maintain steady raw material conditions.
Matched with PLC controller and touch screen HMI, operators can precisely set key parameters including raw material ratio, injection volume, injection duration and temperature.
The intuitive interface delivers simple operation and easy maintenance, ensuring consistent quality of every single pad.
The machine supports modular upgrade solutions for transforming manual or semi-automatic workshops into fully automatic production lines, seamlessly integrating with rotary carousel lines to achieve one-stop automatic workflows including automatic feeding, multi-station pouring, constant-temperature mold curing and robotic demolding.
Damping Pad Production Workflow
Raw Material Preparation
Load polyol and isocyanate components into respective tanks; set temperature and ratio parameters per formulation requirements (A:B = 100:80–120).
Metering & High-Shear Mixing
Precisely meter components at the set ratio and mix at high speed (5,000 rpm) using the high-shear mixing head with floating mechanical seal for homogeneous, void-free dispersion.
Mold Filling & Foaming
Inject the mixed PU foam into molds under controlled temperature and pressure; allow foaming and curing to form microcellular elastic structures with superior vibration damping properties.
Demolding & Finishing
After curing, perform robotic or manual demolding; inspect finished pads for density, hardness, and dimensional accuracy per railway industry standards.
