Product Overview

The HF‑LPM‑2A2B‑A is a precision PU system for bump stops, suspension cushions & chassis buffers, with ±0.3% metering, ±2°C temp control, and PLC automation.

This low‑pressure polyurethane foaming machine is designed for precision foaming and molding of polyurethane elastomers, widely applied to high‑volume serial production of automotive shock‑absorbing parts including bump stops, suspension cushions, travel limit buffers, and chassis anti‑collision cushions. It is also suitable for manufacturing microcellular elastomer products such as industrial filter sealing gaskets and elastic washers. The machine features a 200L tank system, discharge flow from 50 to 150 g/s, and an adjustable A:B ratio of 100:40‑90. High‑precision gear metering pumps with a closed‑loop flow control system and millisecond‑level dynamic compensation maintain metering deviation within ±0.3%. The multi‑point constant temperature system, heated by thermal oil or electric heating, controls material temperature fluctuation within ±2°C, keeping raw materials in the optimal reaction range. The imported PLC controller and industrial touch screen HMI monitor pouring, cleaning, and air purging in real time, with automatic fault diagnosis and graded audio‑visual alarms. Multiple formulas can be stored and switched with one click, greatly lowering reliance on operator experience. Variable frequency motors enable stepless adjustment of discharge flow and mixing ratio within a wide range—one machine can produce bump stops and shock cushions for different vehicle models and hardness grades without hardware replacement. Finished components feature outstanding impact resistance, wear resistance, flex resistance, and lightweight design, delivering reliable energy absorption and cushioning performance that fully meets automotive assembly line and OEM quality standards.

Production Workflow

Material Preparation & Temperature Stabilization

Load polyol and isocyanate into 200L tanks; multi‑point constant temperature system stabilizes material temperature within ±2°C per recipe requirements.

Recipe Selection & Parameter Setting

Choose stored formula on PLC touch screen; set A:B ratio (100:40‑90) and flow rate (50‑150 g/s) per part type.

Precision Pouring & Molding

Mixed PU elastomer is poured into molds with closed‑loop metering control; material fills cavity and cures under stable temperature conditions.

Demolding, Trimming & Self‑Diagnostic Cleaning

Open mold; remove finished bump stop/component; automatic cleaning cycle with PLC‑monitored fault diagnosis prepares system for next run.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of automotive components can this machine produce?
It produces bump stops, suspension cushions, travel limit buffers, chassis anti‑collision cushions, as well as microcellular elastomer products such as industrial filter sealing gaskets and elastic washers. One machine covers multiple vehicle models and hardness grades.
How does the machine achieve high batch consistency for automotive parts?
Two systems work together: (1) high‑precision gear metering pumps with closed‑loop flow control achieve ±0.3% metering accuracy; (2) multi‑point constant temperature system (±2°C) maintains material temperature stability. Combined, they eliminate hardness, density, and performance deviations between batches.
Can this machine switch between different product types without hardware changes?
Yes. Variable frequency motors enable stepless adjustment of discharge flow and mixing ratio. By switching formulas on the PLC (one‑click recall), the same machine produces bump stops and shock cushions for different vehicle models and hardness grades without any hardware replacement.
What is the typical installation and training timeline?
After machine arrival, our engineers complete on‑site installation, commissioning, and operator training within 5‑7 working days. Trial runs with your specific bump stop molds and formulations take an additional 2‑3 days to confirm stable production parameters.
Does this machine meet automotive industry quality standards?
Yes. The machine is CE‑certified, ISO9001 compliant, and meets general specifications for automotive component production. Finished parts fully satisfy quality standards of automotive assembly lines and OEM manufacturers for impact resistance, wear resistance, and flex resistance.
